Notes are small pieces of text which can be added to the chart to record information useful for pilotage, for example "Favour the right side of this channel". Notes are presented as semi-transparent gray rectangles with a red coloured pin icon.
Right click on the chart to bring up a contextual menu. Choose Add Note.
Right click the mouse over a note to bring up a contextual menu. Choose Delete Note....
Click and hold the mouse over the red pin icon of a note to allow it to be dragged to a new position on the chart.
Move the mouse over the text area of a note to make the note editable. You will see a text cursor blinking which will allow you to enter a message.
